Street Photography

One to One Workshop with Matt Hall

5 hours - £350

Margate Photo Lounge is delighted to offer a street photography workshop in Margate, led by acclaimed photographer Matt Hall (The 13th Second).

You’ll gain confidence to capture candid moments fearlessly, redefining your approach to photography. Master essential techniques for enhancing and creating layers in your images, and learn to anticipate key moments, ensuring you seize opportunities that others might miss. Walk away with a fresh perspective and a captivating collection of photos that showcase unique vision.

Film Development

One to One Workshop with David Babaian

3 hours - £150 (including chemistry)

During this 1:1 workshop you will learn how to develop your own black and white photographic film, whether that be 35mm or 120, and gain the knowledge and skills to be able to continue doing this at home or in a darkroom. No prior experience is required, however a basic knowledge of photographic film is helpful.

Darkroom Printing

One to One Workshop with David Babaian

5 hours - £275 (including chemistry and Paper)

Photographs are meant to be printed. On this workshop you will work with your own black and white negatives (35mm or 120) and produce your very own prints using the traditional darkroom process, printing onto photographic paper and learning darkroom printing skills such as dodging and burning, and using contrast filters.

At the end of the workshop you will leave with a selection of your very own handmade prints.
